"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." — James 1:5

Today's Scripture & Insight: James 1:5–8

Change is a constant part of our lives. Some changes are exciting and expected, like the start of a new job or the birth of a child. Other changes, such as the loss of a loved one or an unexpected health diagnosis, can leave us feeling disoriented and uncertain.

In the midst of life's ever-changing seas, how can we navigate effectively? The answer is found in seeking God's wisdom.

The book of James encourages us to ask God for wisdom when we lack it. Unlike worldly wisdom, which can often be self-serving or short-sighted, God's wisdom is grounded in eternal truth and guided by His love for us. It equips us to make decisions that honor Him and benefit us in the long run.

As we face the waves of change, let's turn to our unwavering God. By seeking His wisdom, we can navigate life's changes with grace and courage, confident that He is guiding us toward His perfect will.

Reflect & Pray

What changes are you currently facing? How can you seek God's wisdom as you navigate these changes?

Lord, we thank You for the promise that You give wisdom generously to those who ask. In the face of change, guide us with Your wisdom that we might walk in Your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
