Welcome to Ocean Commotion! Every day, our kids are challenged to stand for God in their schools, among their friends, in our culture . . . no matter what. And they’re bombarded with the lie that God’s Word isn’t true when it talks about earthly things (rocks, fossils), so it can’t be trusted to tell the truth about spiritual things.
Noah experienced the same challenges during the time of the great Flood thousands of years ago. Yet, by God’s grace, he was able to Stand for God, Obey God, Trust God, Thank God, and Fear God . . . no matter what. The biggest watery catastrophe the world has ever known happened during his lifetime. But through it all, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
This summer, July 23 – 27, watch amazing things happen as your kids encounter God like never before. Your child will tour some of the world’s most marvelous natural wonders and learn to trust and recognize God as they explore His awesome power.

If you didn’t make it out to Faith Bible Church of Lake Charles’ Old-Fashioned Sunday this past weekend you missed out on a ton of great worship opportunities, awesome fellowship, delicious food, and fun games. The building was packed with wonderful people ready to praise God and hear from Him as we are looking forward to effectivey impacting a constantly changing society by meeting people where they are and helping them on their journey to where God wants them to be. We are moving forward by looking back.
Last weekend, Faith Bible Church of Lake Charles looked back at four of the ancient landmarks we can count on concerning Jesus Christ. As Christians we rely on these same biblical truths the church has held dear for over 2000 years. They are the virgin birth Christ, His substitutionary death, His resurrection, and personal salvation by grace through faith.
Many got into the spirit of the day by dressing in olf-fashioned clothing. We really felt like we were having a picnic on the prairie.
Here, the children got in on the fun by searching for candy and goodies in a pile of hay.
Could it really be an old-fashioned day on the prairie without chickens? They definately got their exercise as they chased these roosters.
