AWANA Youth Clubs at Faith
AWANA Clubs for ages 3-12th Grade meet every Wednesday during the school year from 6:00-7:30 pm. AWANA is an acronym from 2 Timothy 2:15 — Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed. Our first club night this year is September 4, 2019.
AWANA is a fun approach to making the Bible alive and relevant with caring trained leaders who invest time, love and wisdom into shaping children’s lives. While kids are having fun together each Wednesday night, they’re learning about Jesus and growing in their faith in Him, too. They learn Bible verses and spiritual truths. They encounter life lessons that feed their soul. They participate in games and activities that train their bodies.

AWANA meets on Wednesday nights throughout the school year 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
This children's and youth program is for:
- Cubbies — 3 - 4 year olds
- Sparks — Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
- T&T (Truth in Training) — 3rd - 6th Grade
- Trek — Middle Schoolers
- Journey — High School
Four segments provide start to finish excitement in every club meeting:
Opening Time: Kids meet in the Faith Auditorium at the beginning of each AWANA night to learn and sing songs about God and His grace. It’s a time to focus why we have AWANA, “to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”
Handbook Time: Kids work one-on-one in small groups with a trained leader to recite verses they memorized. Leaders talk with children to ensure they understand key Bible verses that teach them how to know and follow God. Awards are given in recognition to children who have completed sections in their handbooks.
Council Time: Each club comes together to hear an age-appropriate Bible story to learn about character traits that honor God.
Game Time: Children learn teamwork and sportsmanship in team competition in the AWANA Game Time.
How check-in works
On your first visit, come to the double glass doors under the canopy in front of the church. You can check-in your child in the foyer. From then on you can drop them off by driving under the canopy and they will be escorted in by one of our trained club leaders.
Before Club: You can check-in your child in the foyer or drop them off under the front canopy. While there is no charge for club attendance, clubbers are encouraged to bring club dues each club night. Recommended dues are .50 per child each week. If you like, you may pay for the year at the beginning of the club year.
After Club: After the club night is complete, you may drive up under the canopy and will be greeted again by one of our club leaders. Once we determine you are authorized to pick up your child we will escort them to your vehicle.
During Club: In the event that we need to contact you during club, we will either call or text the number you provide.
